If there is one wheel that has consistently come out tops, it is the legendary Zipp 808. Especially In crosswinds they are a revelation, thanks to the toroidal rim shape.

What really struck me though was just how fast the wheels felt. The first few rides I thought I was just on a good day, but by the end of the season it was clear the 808s were part of the reason. For larger riders looking for the fastest road race wheels, I can think of none better. Front and rear wheel wheel set. These are in great condition; used for 8 Iron Man races. Then put into a Fixie that was never used. Minor scratches and a few decals removed. Wrapped in Vittoria Rubino Pro tires with lots of tread.
